Visiting this area/family. We were taken to this brilliant cafe. Tiny carpark behind it, but a walkable a carpark is available from the road. Several cyclists here, and many dog walkers (def dog friendly place) lovely outside seating area. Cafe had a great atmosphere, gorgeous seating, plants etc. Excellent coffee. Cakes looked really scrummy, toasted teacakes were great. Toilets etc all good. Not a place you'd just 'come across' as in a park area, but well worth finding.

Lovely find. Searched Google maps for a cafe off the A303 on the way to Devon. What a fabulous find, and only 10 mins off the main road. Right by a park where you can stretch your legs, and any children can use up some energy. Lovely cake choices, really good coffee and hot chocolate. Buzzing atmosphere - obviously really popular with Wincanton locals. Will definitely come again. Dogs welcome, and outside seating and ice creams as well.

This little hidden gem is so worth a visit. We stopped here on our way to a weekend in Torquay and the smoked salmon sourdough was to die for. My husband had the full English which was lush too. So delicious and well presented. It's clearly very popular and rightly so. You won't be disappointed. Also dog friendly.

Visited here on a Thursday early morning, was recommended to me by the Nissan garage over the road as I was having a service done on the car. The cafe is set in a park, quite large inside with several tables and outdoors seeting. A good range of tea and coffee plus oat and soya milk. The food menu is perfect for gluten and dairy free people like myself. Plenty of options including a delicious gluten free bacon sandwich which came with an unexpected but very tasty rocket and tomato side salad with dressing. Almost too much bacon but I'm not complaining about that . Children have their own menu, cake is plentiful, breakfast and lunch offerings are well made and thought out. Overall it is very good value and has a warm and cosy feel inside the cafe whilst being independent it is obviously well managed with high standards.. Staff who served me were knowledgeable and polite which is reassuring when ordering gluten free. Highly recommend.

Gluten and dairy free haven! I was introduced to this cafe yesterday by a friend and the breakfasts we had were simply delicious. So good in fact I've come back with my husband for round two the very next day. The chef is a coeliac herself and she uses top quality ingredients. I can't tell you how much relief I feel to find somewhere I can eat with confidence. It's a very rare treat. I love the decor, atmosphere and simply delicious menu highlighting great local produce. The coffee is great and there are plenty of dairy free milk options.

Absolutely loved this independent cafe. Super breakfast - both the vegan and regular versions of the “posh avocado” were delicious. Super coffee. It’s a shame we’re just visiting or we’d be here all the time. Highly recommended!

Great place for coffee and cake, didn't eat brunch etc so won't comment but it looked top notch too. Done very well to make it an inviting place, nice decor and was very impressed with the cake selection as it had more left field options than found in other cafes. Would heartily recommend.
